Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant is a key contributor to the day-to-day accounting operations of the Reyes Fleet Management structure. The position is intended to provide a broad range of accounting and finance support to the Reyes Fleet Management Operation.

As part of Reyes Holdings, LLC, one of the largest private fleets in the United States, Reyes Fleet Management, LLC maintains and repairs the transportation fleet and material handling equipment for Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distributing, the Reyes Beverage Group, the Martin Brower Company and Reinhart Foodservice. In addition to the Reyes Fleet Management facilities, Reyes Fleet Management oversees third party maintenance, equipment leasing and vendor relations for the fleet in all Reyes Holdings locations.

Through their knowledge of the distribution industry, the Reyes Fleet Management team works with the companies to reduce costs, ensure compliance standards and assist locations with value added solutions to provide well maintained equipment for employees’ use. Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years current accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Possess a professional demeanor
  • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills in addition to being a team player
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with other Microsoft based applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test



Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience with JDEdwards

People or Process Management Responsibility: None

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Monthly financial reporting and analysis
  • Month end close for business locations
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly billing reports for fleet maintenance operations
  • Account analysis and reconciliation
  • Maintain fixed asset system on a regular basis
  • Weekly fuel invoicing and reconciliation with related company
  • Assist with the year-end external audit process
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements
  • Any other duties as assigned
