Job Description

As a key member of the HR function, the Sr. Talent Consultant is responsible for all facets of the recruitment process for assigned business groups. In collaboration with hiring managers, the Sr. TA Consultant will direct the employment process including sourcing, identifying, prescreening/ qualifying, interviewing, negotiating salaries, and closing candidates. This position will have a cross-functional requisition load of positions across the Firm that require broad sourcing knowledge and or the ability to develop sourcing strategies for heavily utilized talent pools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop strategies to source, attract, recruit and select high-quality candidates against defined criteria for multiple CIM divisions through various recruitment channels
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of the division’s culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications and compensation requirements
  • Use innovative sourcing channels to convert hard to find passive talent including social media, resume mining, diversity resources and networking
  • Drive and manage the candidate experience throughout the selection process including offer negotiation and new hire on-boarding
  • Effectively coach hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • Partner with compensation and hiring managers to determine and define attractive and competitive job offers
  • Establish and build relationships with other CIM recruiters to share knowledge, industry trends, and experiences to execute best practices enterprise-wide
  • Continuously develop business knowledge of company and division objectives, industry and key corporate challenges, and current market dynamics
  • Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics
  • Develop a broad professional network of top talent and build deep pipelines
  • Ensure accurate and timely tracking and record-keeping of applicants and candidate recruiting activities, including interviews and candidate assessments. Utilize ATS & HRIS in record-keeping and throughout recruiting life-cycle
  • Work with support staff to ensure completion of administrative tasks in the recruitment process including interview coordination, travel arrangement for candidates, and background checks

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support HR leadership in various programs and special projects as assigned, including campus recruiting, internship programs, and improved utilization and efficiency of ATS.
  • Manage vendor relationships

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (including certifications, licenses, etc):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • A minimum of 7 years recruiting experience and at least 4 in an in-house role
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System. Prior experience with Lever and UKG Pro (UltiPro), a plus
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for positions in multiple functional areas in a face-paced environment
  • Experience using social media tools for sourcing efforts and building candidate pipelines

  • Strong relationship building, networking and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated success building consultative relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong relationships with hiring managers, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders
  • Team player with a willingness to reach outside of core areas of experience or expertise to help with the overall function of the recruiting team and HR department
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality of searches
  • Proven ability to support/interact with senior-level management
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws

MATHEMATICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic mathematical skills, including calculating percentages and rates as needed to develop financial offers to candidates

  • Skilled at talent assessment and selection, including evaluating best fit within the dynamics of specified teams or work groups.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of best practices in ATS utilization. Knowledge of UltiPro is a plus
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in talent assessment & evaluation
  • Demonstrated success sourcing talent using all recruiting channels including social media

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

  • Time & cost to hire on assigned requisitions
  • Internal customer satisfaction with recruiting process and delivered candidates
  • Retention and success of candidates sourced
