Sr. Structural Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering is required, Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering is desired
• 5+ years of Structural Engineer experience, managing projects and designing for commercial/industrial buildings.
• SE Licensed Structural Engineer, preferably in the state of California
• Design knowledge and experience
• Experience in structural design and detailing with concrete and steel buildings is required.
• Experience in tilt-up construction is a plus
• Use computer design and analysis programs including Ram Structural, Ram concept, ETABS, SAFE, Mathcad, spColumn are desired.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction
• Manage projects and engineering teams to complete projects on time
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress
• Work as a liaison between departments to improve function and communication
• Determine compliance with standards
• Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work
• Implement design or process improvements
• Coordinating and scheduling the work and activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
