Sr. Software Engineer

• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, signal or related field or equivalent 1-3 years of experience
• Expert knowledge of computer vision or sensor signal processing
• Experience applying machine learning to practical problems
• Experience working with data captured from sensors and associated signal processing
• Experience with hardware/ integration and real-time systems
• Strong coding skills in, at least, one modern programming language such as or Python

• PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Programming in C++ in an industrial setting

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Experience building complex /hardware mission-critical that have been successfully delivered to customers at scale
• Experience with real-time embedded systems
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full /hardware/networks life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source management, processes, testing and live operations
• Experience communicating with various teams to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs
