As a Sr. Software Developer at Lean Industries, you will create, build, enhance, test and support our growing AdjustmentHub and NetworkHub product sets. Reporting to our VP of Product Development, your day-to-day responsibilities will include coding with and for project teams, troubleshooting with project teams and QA teams, working with customers to successfully deploy our products into their environments and being a happy, healthy member of the Lean Family.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Be a part of development projects within the two tech stacks currently in use
  • Java/JEE development
  • GUI development using PrimeFaces, Javascript and CSS
  • SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Be a part of new development projects utilizing Kotlin, React UI Framework, Spring application server, and Kubernetes/Docker deployments
  • Potential involvement with DevOps tools including Git (BitBucket), Bamboo and/or SonarQube
  • As a Senior developer, you will take leadership roles in customer projects and provide guidance to less experienced developers.
  • Lend opinions and advice towards making Lean more efficient and ensuring our clients are satisfied and happy

You are someone who has:

  • Java and/or Kotlin experience
  • 8+ years of related software development experience
  • Experience working on enterprise software development projects
  • Well organized with the ability to work independently of direct manager oversight
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of services-based architectures and ideally REST web service implementations
  • Relational database knowledge including database design and efficient queries
  • University degree in technical subjects such as computer science or software engineering. Equivalent amount of education and experience will be considered.

We definitely want to talk to you if you have the following:

  • Experience related to retail banking, card issuing, merchant acquiring, and/or similar industry experience in the electronic payments processing space
  • Ability to travel globally (including possession of a valid passport); manage travel itineraries and travel expenses until reimbursed
