We are seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Marketing Manager to support the development and launch of new strategic programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will be a marketing general athlete with the demonstrated ability to work both strategically and tactically across a diverse of set of marketing channels in order to establish programs which drive upper funnel awareness and lower funnel conversion. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results across a broad range of marketing channels, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, plus a passion for testing, learning and making data-driven decisions.

This is a leadership role with responsibilities for articulating the marketing strategy and infrastructure for a confidential new business and will help lead the development of a go to market strategy. This role is also responsible for identifying and standing up new acquisition and engagement programs, testing aggressively, leaning into traction from these tests, and prioritizing areas to scale marketing efforts. To do so, the successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders across category, product, business intelligence and design teams. You will need to be entrepreneurial and roll up your sleeves. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and establish best practices for a new concept.

You’ll need to be able to thrive in a dynamic white space environment and be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in across owned and paid marketing channels, working with large/complex product launches and/or matrixed teams.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead a marketing planning process which defines primary and secondary customer messaging
  • Coordinate across category, merchandising and marketing partners to align key messaging
  • Serve as a marketing liaison with other internal marketing teams
  • Create and execute launch marketing strategy and plan across digital and offline channels; owns the cross-functional activation calendar and traffic plan
  • Devise, launch, test and optimize marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle and within multiple marketing channels
  • Develop and own key performance metrics around customer acquisition and engagement on behalf of the business
  • Define strategies, programs and features to drive acquisition and engagement goals, and working cross-functionally to deliver them
  • Contribute to the development of a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration
  • Ability to influence others to drive your key business KPIs
  • Track record of effectively influencing senior leadership within an organization
  • Proven track record of scaling marketing efforts in support of a rapidly growing business
  • Must be comfortable with advanced Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis
  • Experience using marketing automation/CRM platform tools such as Salesforce or Marketo
  • Has relentlessly high standards
  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience with Amazon content scheduling, merchandising and targeting systems (e.g. Bullseye, Sonar)
  • Experience establishing and running experiments via Amazon weblab environments
  • Experience in partnering with product teams to build personalized marketing automation solutions
