Position Summary

The Sr Manager of Sports Marketing for Running + Training will be responsible for our Athlete / Influencer Portfolio, Events + Experiences and Strategy Execution in the Americas region. This role is accountable for the Run + Train budgets and delivering on the marketing strategies for the region & category. They must manage, service and activate our portfolio of athletes / Influencers and partnerships in Running + Training. This role is also accountable to the building, developing and coaching of the 2 teammates in Running + Training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages Athlete / Influencer recruitment, negotiations, onboarding and servicing.
  • Manages our integration into the GTM process.
  • Executes the seeding of our Tier 1, 2 performance products.
  • Aligns the global Sports Marketing strategy to the Americas region and manages the execution of the plan in market.
  • Manages external communication with Athletes, Agents, Event Directors and Facility owners.
  • Reasonable for managing internal budgets
  • Heavily influences our athlete selection for campaigns
  • Expected to work cross functionally with business partners in Finance, Brand, Global Strategy, Communication + Events.
  • This role is a leadership role and is expected to provide coaching, training and guidance.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Ability to establish and grow relationships at all levels, both inside the organization as well as

within the industry.

  • Proven professionalism working with high profile clients/athletes and agents.
  • Accountability is a must. This self-starter will be provided the opportunity to create, develop

and grow the business while being accountable for both short- and long-term success.

  • Excellent communication skills are required. Must be comfortable speaking to groups and presenting

Education And / Or Experience
  • BA required
  • Ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant Sports Marketing experience working for

either a Global Brand, Club, Federation, League and/or Agency.

  • Prior experience working for a company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture also highly valued.
  • Prior experience working with athletes / influencers, teams, properties and owned initiatives.
Other Requirements
  • Travel: 50% of the year
  • Program Experience: IE- Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Keynote
