LEARNING EXPERIENCE TECHNOLOGIST

The Learning Technologist will partner with the instructional design team and the talent management team to create the optimal learning experience for our team members leveraging a variety of learning modalities (VR/AR, e-learning, video) and multiple systems including Workday, CorpU and PlayerLync a mobile workforce enablement platform. This role must take the time to understand how team members conduct their day to day roles to help assist in integrating learning into the flow of work. In addition, this role will develop and maintain a robust measurement strategy to evaluate progress.

This position requires strong teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. This role must be able to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

Learning Operation & Reporting

  • Understand the needs and workflow for each audience and how they will most effectively learn and apply the knowledge into their daily job.
  • Create and manage user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts
  • Collaborates with the learning team and business partners to determine business outcomes and learning strategy; develops a plan to implement and maintain learning experiences across multiple learning platforms and executes measurement strategy
  • Leads the QA strategy and process across the team and will take the lead with IT and external vendors to fix any integration issues or complications
  • Develops and maintains rigorous administration procedures for governance within the system
  • Generate Leadership dashboards to show ROI, owns documentation and provides regular updates to leadership and executives
  • Perform regular maintenance on the system to ensure it functions properly
  • Identifies and takes the lead to resolve issues with SMEs, instructional designers and external vendors that may appear with course design and configuration
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and development within LMS providers, vendors and technology and works with Director to influence the future learning strategy

Content Management

  • Create and manage the overall course structure and setting up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designers
  • Develop and maintains content management restrictions to ensure the right content is seen by the right audience at the right time
  • Develop and maintain a robust and rigorous measurement strategy for learning items within our systems utilizing Kirkpatrick Levels of measurement in collaboration with Director, Sr. Managers, Instructional Designers and learning specialists.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a system/ LMS management type role; preference for Workday Learning
  • 3+ years of Instructional Designer experience required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience collecting data and generating reports using appropriate business insights tools
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, embrace change, and innovate in a fast- paced environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet targets or deadlines.
