Amazon is seeking a Sr. HR Specialist to join the Amazon Care team working specifically with its clinical team – Care Medical. This is an exciting new project team building a completely new best-in-class service offering. The Sr. HR Specialist is responsible for much of the administrative processes that drive the employee experience. And the cool part of this job is that there is still a lot of opportunity to define it. It starts with the onboarding and orientation experience, administering the HRIS, payroll, benefits enrollment, leaves of absence, policies, and the performance management rhythm.

Ideally based in Seattle, WA, but flexible depending on candidates experience and location.

  • Ability to audit transactions, gather data, and deliver constructive feedback
  • Candidate should be able to capture large amounts of data and derive analysis
  • Strong orientation towards designing data collection formats, compile business rules as they apply to the process and analyze them
  • Must possess ability to apply basic quality tools/concepts required of an auditor
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or adjacent industries is preferred.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Prior experience with leading/participating in operational excellence projects
  • Experience with driving improvement ideas
  • Data consolidation and analysis using advanced excel
