Overview:JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Demand Manager position within the Business Operations group will be based at San Diego and require full-time presence to support business initiatives. This position will provide Demand Manager services and business projections that create defined value for the organization. The Demand Manager will act as a key link between executive staff, sales operations, account management, product management, and customer support teams to drive end to end S&OP process.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Prepare executive level S&OP package for multiple platforms and products encompassing all aspects of business.
Ability to lead a domestic and international supply chain team consisting of planners, schedulers, and demand managers
Capable of setting vision for team and driving to execution
Lead interface between business teams analyzing sales pipeline, material plans, and supply constraints to produce and drive one business plan.
In-depth understanding and use of multiple planning/inventory management techniques in support of business service levels
Support inventory goals including on hand, turns, and E&O
Effectively communicate supply/demand changes to cross functional team
Support key metrics, reports, and dashboards
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
Experience: 10+ years experience in operations and supply chain with 7+ years of managerial experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to present and communicate to executive level staff
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Experience with ISO requirements and documentation
Strong teamwork skills required to work effectively in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external supply chain partners.
Must possess strong analytical, interviewing and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with business and operational resources effectively and proactively
Advanced Excel modeling skills preferred
