This is a temporary position of undetermined length. This position is directed out of McKinney, TX, but remote work will be considered.

Job Description:
  • Develop, maintain, mature and assess the Cyber Maturity Model
  • Perform Software Standards Review based on security compliance criteria
  • Assess IT Cyber Solutions Implementation (Review Security Control Assessments)
  • Develop Assessment Guides (Program protection plans, procedures, and assessments.)
  • Provide support in assessing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders
  • Define test environment, run simulations and conduct testing
  • Develop test analysis and evaluation approach
  • Prepare reports and participate in special projects as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with SAS IT employees at all levels in a matrixed environment and our partners.

Required Skills:
  • Experience developing and maintaining guidelines documentation
  • Working knowledge of the Independent Verification and Validation Methodology
  • 3+ years of experience in auditing and/or in a quality or continuous improvement role
  • Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or Access)
  • Must be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time in a dynamic environment while requiring minimal levels of supervision
  • Effective writing, speaking, analytical, and customer interaction skills
  • Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met
  • Able to obtain a DoD government clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Required Education:
