Current Need

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX.

Position Description

The primary role of the Senior Business Analyst is to ensure the execution of the Finance & Accounting business analytical solution. Refine use cases, take accountability for requirement gathering and documentation. Provide action and process support, coach and facilitate learning across Development and Maintenance team. Support new functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare business requirement document (BRD), use case and other documents by thoroughly understanding the project requirements
  • Evaluate the information gathered, plan project roadmap and collaborate with development team to communicate the project scope
  • Driving the execution of project, planning the sprint sessions, mentoring and guiding the development team, review of the completed tasks and flag for any risk/issues
  • UAT, validation, feedback induction and final release to the project stakeholders
  • Work independently on the ad-hoc requests

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of strong business, data and analysis experience
  • 2 years hands experience in executing analytical and automation projects in F&A including but not limited to AP, AR, Credit, rebates, charge backs, discounts, leakages, disputes, contract management, MDM
  • 2+ years of stakeholder management experience and ability to deliver and own multiple project stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills, and be adept at mentoring junior developers
  • 2+ years’ experience documenting business processes and leading requirement gathering sessions
  • Ability to translate and document business processes in order to provide clear requirements to technical design leads
  • Proficiency with database such as SAP HANA, JDE, SFDC
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Proficiency with BI and Analytics tools such SQL, Tableau, Power BI, BO, Python, Excel, MS Access


Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to manage assigned work within committed timelines
  • Exposure to Automation and Automation/RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere
  • Demonstrated delivery of multiple complex projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong object-oriented background

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, statisi, or related field or equivalent experience
