Lamb Weston is seeking a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist for our invoicing team in Accounts Receivable. The selected candidate will be expected to accurately key multiple transactions and be the subject matter expert in all debit and credit request items for Lamb Weston. Job Description
  • Key multiple transactions daily including but not limited to the following:
    • Debit requests to manually bill customers.
    • Credit requests to offset open deductions on A/R items.
    • Post invoices related to warehouse charges.
    • Process shortpay transactions resolved by other departments.
    • Product returns identified by the warehouses.
    • Rebate resolutions approved by the Settlement team.
    • Transactions to charge the warehouse for detention monthly as requested.
  • Track received documentation and process in a timely manner.
  • Work with teammates on monthly rotation for coverage on all types of transactions.
  • Prepare, compile, and upload bill back invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience in the field of AR, data entry, or similar field; and/or equivalent education.
  • Understanding of General Accounting guidelines preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional independent and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent follow up required to key or clear transactions
  • A broad knowledge of accounting functions and how they related to business principles
  • Train new employees and work closely with other departments to key or resolve debits and credits
