SQL DBA

Overview/ Job Responsibilities: Sev1Tech is seeking an MS SQL Database Administrator to join our growing managed services team. The SQL DBA is a key member of a current infrastructure services program working out of offices in Broomfield and Boulder, CO.Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with supporting, installing, patching, backups, and restoring of SQL Server 2017 Standard and Enterprise editions
• 3+ years experience with MS SQL database administration
• Ability to work outside standard business hours (when needed) for support, patches, and upgrades
• Comfortable in team environments for requirement gathering while able to execute deliverables independently; self sufficient
• Experience with automation of work (PowerShell scripting or other tools) for database monitoring
• Ability to work on-site M-F (SCIF)

Desired Qualifications:

• Solutions for redundancy of SQL databases (e.g. AlwaysOn, Virtual Machines, log shipping, etc.)
• Working knowledge of other RDBMS’s (e.g. Oracle)
