Job Description
Pine Cone Therapies is a privately owned and operated ABA and speech therapy company devoted to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities. Pine Cone Therapies offers superior ABA and speech therapies designed on a firm foundation of research-based treatments. The Speech-Language Pathologist provides all assessment and treatment for Pine Cone Therapies clients consistent with the American Speech Hearing and Language Association standards.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat and diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders
- Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals
- Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines
- Deliver treatment utilizing AAC devices as needed
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech-language pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Hold a TDLR license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in the area of speech-language pathology
- Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record
- Clean Criminal Background
