THE OPPORTUNITY:

ER2/Revive IT is searching for an experienced Sourcing and Procurement Agent to be responsible for the company’s end to end sourcing of products and services essential for our operations. In addition, this team member will be responsible for all phases of sourcing that require the skills necessary to identify cost saving opportunities, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, and generate contracts to assure seamless availability of all products to support the company objectives.

You will be working in a cross team environment, ensuring production lines have a ready supply of parts and components to work with while strategically negotiating and bidding on opportunities to bring more product in to support our customer demand.

Full-Time, M-F 8 AM - 5 PM, with the willingness to be flexible depending on business needs.

THE PERFECT FIT: *

• You have 3-5 years experience in the electronics refurbishment/electronic waste industry
• You have an intimate knowledge of IT Hardware including desktops, laptops, and all their parts and components
• You love developing and maintaining relationships worldwide
• You have excellent communication skills
• You have a talent for negotiations and networking. You love the art of making a deal
• You enjoy talking on the phone and video conferencing - because this will be necessary on a daily basis to stay connected with our other locations!
• You love analyzing data to drive improvements
• You’re willing to get your hands dirty and do any job in the building
• You’re reliable, dependable, and timely!

What will you be overseeing exactly??

• Sourcing and managing the purchase of computer parts for production teams in multiple locations
• Building and managing supplier relationships
• Sourcing and bidding on off-lease and retired assets
• Producing and executing purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with budgets and provide analysis on deviations
• Forecast upcoming demand

Essential Job Functions:

• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers, both locally and internationally
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Produce and execute purchase orders with qualified vendors
• Assist in the continued development of parts department and database
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Advanced data analytic skills and experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Advanced system skills and working knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
• Attend industry conferences 2-6 times per year (travel)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time without fatiguing.
• The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects in excess of 70 lbs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• The ability to pass a drug test/background screen with no prior convictions of theft related felonies in the last 7 years
• The ability to speak/read English fluently
