AS a Software Release Project Manager, YOU WILL:
- Act as project manager for multiple software development initiatives.
- Clearly communicate project methodology within the team and implement project standards.
- Identify and remove any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team’s ability to deliver against their commitments.
- Identify and implement process improvements and tools utilized by the team for tracking work product.
- Drive efficiency by utilizing innovative project management methodology, processes and tools.
- Proven ability to identify necessary metrics, implement data collection mechanisms, analyze data and make recommendations.
- Maintain meticulous records of projects and program issues, risks, decisions, schedules.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders.
- Perform impact analyses on additions or changes to projects in progress and report on and track the underlying reasons for changes in deliverables.
- Work with Product Managers to develop product roadmaps and release schedules which align to business objectives and are sequenced by priority and resource availability.
- Liaise with project teams and Customer Care to get feedback and a list of issues and their priorities/deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager with knowledge and application of industry standard project management principles.
- Proficient in managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated experience managing software development
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience in midstream oil and gas pipeline industry
- Experience as a Software Developer
