Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS). Presents ideas for system improvements. Develops cost estimates for software developments or enhancements. Conducts impact analysis for software changes. Produces detailed specifications and writes software code. Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements. Conducts unit tests and documents findings. Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production. Adheres to program configuration change control standards. Provides input into training manuals for users. Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, and Momentum). Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API). Extends applications by using applicable application tools. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.

• As a Member of an agile team you will work with the government customer to help shape a new phase of applications into the C2S cloud environment.
• You will work closely with multiple contractor teams and the customer to transform approved requirements into features during each sprint. You will help to develop the new suite of applications one sprint at a time.

More About the Role:The application developer must be able to develop, configure, release, and support business applications. Basic Requirements

• TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required
• Experience building complex software systems utilizing Java, Angular, Python, and Spring Boot
• Experience with version control systems using Git
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices (coding standards, code review, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations)
• AWS/C2S cloud development experience
• Experience with AWS/C2S services that are available in the IC
• Experience in the design and/or development of web-based notification systems
• Experience with software systems development in the IC community
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on an agile development team
• Experience using container technologies such as Docker, Kubernettes, Podman, Buildah, or Openshift
• Experience with 508 Compliance
• Experience with DevSecOps practices
• Experience incorporating Test Driven Development
