The purpose of this position is to manage and direct the Social Services Department, while identifying and providing for each resident’s social, emotional and psychological needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other allied field. MSW where required.
• Must meet all license, certification, training or credentials as required by the State
• Demonstrated ability to seek out new methods and principles and a willingness to incorporate them into existing social services
• Social services experience in a medical setting, ideally within long term care or skilled nursing
• Strong computer literacy

Preferred Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
