Job Description:

Overall, Purpose Of The Job (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position) We currently have an opening for a Solutions Architect, located at our office in Philadelphia, US. This person will be responsible for evaluating business requirements for the International SOS Medical and Security content delivery, deriving a comprehensive architecture and providing strategic direction throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities (Critical responsibilities and skills of this position, listed in order of importance)

· Create and lead the process of integrating IT systems for them to meet the organization’s requirements

· Conduct system architecture evaluation and collaborate with project management and IT development teams to improve the architecture

· Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks and perform process re-engineering if required

· Notifies stakeholders about any issues connected to architecture

· Analyze the business impact that certain technical choices may have on business processes.

· Continuously research emerging technologies and propose changes to existing architectures

· Exhibits critical thinking and strong analytical skills in the design and development of advanced and flexible solutions

· Develops complex software products (websites, client applications, middle-tier components, etc.) to meet customer requirements

· Possesses excellent problem solving and troubleshooting techniques

· Experience leading global teams on projects including offshore teams to facilitate project work

· Collaborate with project and program management to ensure that project tasks are assigned and completed in a timely manner and project milestone dates are met

· Ensures all project documentation is created, archived, and updated, including design, development, and deployment documentation

· Interfaces and collaborates with other business units on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines

· Takes initiative to continue development by becoming involved in value-added activities such as cross-departmental learning, team meetings, peer partnerships, departmental or company-sponsored projects or task committees

· Monitors projects after production release to identify and resolve issues

· Supports production systems as needed C. Job Profile Required Skills and Knowledge (Brief description of technical knowledge or skills needed to perform the job)

· Experience with headless content architecture

· Experience with designing and implementing microservices

· Experience designing solutions for public clouds, such as AWS.

· Understanding of IT security, infrastructure, and governance

· Experience and understanding of the fundamentals of the DevOps framework

· Experience working with MVC-based applications

· Experience with SOLR search platform, as well as SolrCloud for high availability and fault tolerance

· Experience designing personalized and adaptive content models for omnichannel delivery

· Experience with Sitecore JavaScript Services (JSS)

· Experience with Sitecore custom development including Jobs, Scheduled Tasks, Pipelines, Events, Search, Custom Controls, Workflows

· Experience with Sitecore Helix Architecture principles

· Experience configuring and tuning Sitecore environments Required Competencies
