CACI is seeking a site project manager who under limited guidance serve as the on-site lead and customer point of contact for Outside Plant (OSP) installations at Army locations throughout the Pacific Theater to include Guam, Alaska, Japan / Okinawa & Korea.

More About the Role

  • Lead the on-site installation efforts in coordination with the Government IPT leader (IPTL), CACI Employees, Subcontractor(s) and other Government POC’s.
  • Monitor progress and quality/workmanship of the installation/implementation teams and report problems/progress/status to Sr. Program Manager
  • Responsible for installing per the approved engineering installation plan, documenting install progress and coordinating any deviations through Program Manager and Government IPTL
  • Manage the testing of all installation per the approved test plan, documenting results and providing to the Program Manager as a deliverable to the Government.
  • Oversee the acceptance, inventory and storage of materials – coordinate delivery of materials from storage location to the installation site as required to meet the installation schedule.
  • Coordinate building / street access and other requirements with post personnel based upon the implementation schedule
  • Provide projections for all work descriptors to be installed monthly and quarterly to the Sr, Program Manager.
  • Provide actual start and finish dates for all summary tasks in the schedule to Sr. PM weekly. Ensure schedules are met or completed prior to due dates. Provide any schedule delays to the Sr. Program Manager
  • Review and disposition out-of-scope requests from the customer. Resolve all change requests to include negotiation, design, quote, installation and acceptance.
  • Ensure that all work sites and work areas (trailers, yards, etc.) are kept orderly, clean and safe.
  • Ensure adequate safety measures are always taken to protect people and property in compliance with OSHA, local government and installation regulations.
  • Ensure that contract specifications and quality are met whether explicitly or implicitly implied per the following:
  • Inside/Outside Plant Performance Requirements
  • United States Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) Outside Plant Design and Performance Requirements (OSPDPR)
  • Electronic Industries Association (EIA)/ Telecommunications Industries Association (TIA)
  • Commercial Building Wiring Standard, EIA/TIA 568-A, August 1995.
  • Rural Utilities Services (RUS) Telecommunications Standards for Outside Plant 1751F-643
  • Site Specific/Unique Requirements
  • Attend meetings held on installation/implementation progress for the site/base personnel
  • If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position
  • Travel to other Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
  • Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
  • Perform other duties as required
  • You’ll Bring These Qualifications

    • Experience managing OSP / ISP and other telecommunications projects.
    • Experience overseeing installation teams to include sub-contractors.
    • Three (3) years of experience in the pacific region AOR
    • RCDD Certification, preferred
    • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications primarily Visio, Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
    • OSHA 30 Construction safety class
