Site Admin Technician (entry Level)

GTL is looking for an entry level Site Admin Technician to join our Field Services team. Responsibilities will include data entry, reporting and hands on remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services. Potentially administer kiosk collection/service activities with customers located geographically throughout an assigned territory.

This is a remote based position in the posted city (or surrounding area) with a requirement to travel to multiple local customer sites on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the access lists to include enrollments, changes, deletions, etc.
• Manage portions of the inmate enrollment process to include fingerprint and voice file management.
• Responsible for resolving any problems that may arise with an inmate call access list or the inmate Pin numbers.
• Assist the facility staff with any investigations and or queries and questions pertaining to the inmate telephone system.
• Complete proactive preventative maintenance (PM) at each assigned facility. PMs are to include but not be limited to phone repairs by replacing defective device.
• During each site visit, take note of any issues or requests that are outside the normal preventative maintenance routine and in real time, open Work Orders to dispatch.
• Compile reports as needed.
• During any emergency situations at facility, may be required for on-call duty during evening hours and/or weekends.
• Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationships.
• Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a possibility of after hours, weekend and holiday support as needed to support the business.
• Escalate problems as appropriate.
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level position requiring 0-2 year of related experience.
• A willingness or ability to learn basic hardware maintenance or similar.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer focus driven skillset; ability to develop strong relationships.
• Must be pro-active, self-sufficient and highly productive with minimal guidance/supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast environment with competing deadlines.
• Must be able to work the assigned hours and any on-call requirements.
• Must have reliable transportation. Will be required to travel to multiple customer sites.
• The work atmosphere will be relevant with access to government agencies, jail, and prison environments, with stringent security guidelines to be maintained at-all-times.
