The Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting the Production Manager and Ultimate Team in various technical and administrative tasks. Specific duties of a Shop Assistant include assisting with dealership/warehouse loading, monitoring program schedules, assisting with projects by compiling kit preparation, handling day to day administrative tasks in the department, acting as a liaison between production and dealerships, ensuring that all the raw materials are stocked in appropriate quantities, and performing several other tasks as required.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

  • Must have strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • May be required to become forklift certified.
  • Maintain and organize "demo" area and proper disposal of materials.
  • Provide assistance and support to Supply Chain Coordinator.
  • Responsible for Guest check-in/check-out process, including weigh and inspection of units.
  • Frequent travel to various stores to purchase parts and other supplies for the shop.
  • Receive/inspect and stock parts in bin locations.
  • Pull and organize inventory for Guest projects.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts of inventory.
  • Help out with cleaning and light maintenance as needed in the shop.
  • Clean and organize work areas.
  • Take on other projects as needed.
  • May cross-train to perform other duties.

This is a full time, benefited position working Mon-Fri. Occasional overtime if needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, 401K, paid holidays, and PTO.

  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions.
