In this context, responsibilities of a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, include receiving incoming parts and supplies, restocking Kanban bins, communicating with vendors regarding status of shipments, preparing customer shipments, and additional duties as required. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator must meet aggressive deadlines and maintain a strong customer focus. A wide degree of creativity and initiative is expected.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • 1-3 years domestic and international shipping experience
  • Knowledge of international shipping procedures and paperwork
  • Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and LTL processes
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills. Experience with Vantage preferred.
  • Must have forklift driving experience
  • Must be able to lift minimum 40 lbs.
