Education and/or Experience:Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Enters appropriate data in proper computer system
- Determines method of shipment that complies with established policies and procedures and customer specifications
- Coordinate with Freight Company for shipments too large for parcel pickup
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons
- Assembles and/or selects reassembled containers
- Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers
- Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reports damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Distributes items to appropriate individual and/or area
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer requirements
- Valid drivers license & clean driving record
- Must be detail oriented
