Shift Manager - 2nd Shift

The Shift Manager will oversee the day to day management of second ( 2nd ) shift in the restaurant. The hours are 2pm -10 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 2pm – 12am Friday and Saturday. You will be required to work 40 hours on 2nd shift, to include weekends. The incumbent will be responsible for delegating tasks, supervising 2nd shift restaurant staff, and problem-solving on the job. You will coordinate with the unit manager regarding job applicants, 2nd shift scheduling, training and performance. Proper teamwork with

manager and training of second shift.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the shift and the issues that occur during the shift such as tardy employees, customer complaints, food delivery, etc.
• Ensure that each customer is completely satisfiedduring their visit. Customer satisfaction is your number one priority.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation on second shift at all times according to Huddle House, Servsafe Food Safety and Health Department Standards.
• Enforce all brands standards, company policies and procedures.
• Represent the company, with professionalism at all times. Treat all employees with dignity and respect.
• Train all levels of staff in proper operations of the unit for POS systems, back of house functions to all levels of front of house operations including Customer Service and all positional duties.
• Further, a bonus is paid at a rate of $2.00 per hour in addition to base hourly pay andis paid every two weeks upon meeting performance and minimum hours worked of 40 hours per week, or 80 hours for the bonus period. Employer pays 100% of employee Minimum Essential Coverage Plan after required qualifying period.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience required
• Cooking experience preferred.
