We are currently looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team as a Crew Member / Counter Attendant. The Crew Member interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, helping them to understand our menu offerings and taking orders accurately. He or she will help with other duties such as cleaning and/or prep work The ideal candidate has a pleasant and courteous personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong guest service skills. • Manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
• Addresses customer concerns and issues
• Ensures compliance with cash control procedures
• Sets up cash drawer and follows security procedures
• Stays up to date with menu as well as with current specials and promotions and can describe items to guests
• Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
• Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
• Completes opening and/or closing checklists
• Helps with other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
• Experience in supervising and managing staff
• Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience in a food service setting is a plus, but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately
• Must be pleasant, personable, and friendly
• Must exhibit a sense of urgency
• Must be able to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours
