Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm room in 2003 at the University of Pennsylvania, by then student, Seth Berkowitz and we have been feeding the insatiable hunger of our fans ever since. What makes us so great? We specialize in delivering warm, delicious cookies right to the doors of individuals and companies alike - What's not to love?
Today we have more than 193 locations and are still growing! Whether you're feeding a craving or a crowd, our offerings of cookies, brownies, cookie cakes and even cold milk have you covered. We also serve and deliver ice cream at most of our locations. - For real! The health, safety and well-being of our Insomniac team members, guests and the communities we serve is our top priority. We have been closely tracking the rapidly-changing situation around COVID-19 (commonly known as coronavirus), and monitoring guidance provided by the CDC and local health officials from around the country.

We have taken many actions to ensure our team is safe and functioning at top capabilities during this time, including but not limited to:
  • Our bakeries being open for delivery and pickup only
  • Going completely cashless on delivery orders
  • Contact free delivery available for customers
  • Enhanced protocol for cleaning and sanitizing our stores

You are the captain of our bakery- day or night! You understand what it takes to Own the Night (and beyond) by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Your “hands-on” leadership style should not only include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers – it will also mean taking pride in knowing that your prowess as a leading Insomniac attributes to a productive and fun night for your store. You can be entrusted with cash handling, safety, and with the upkeep of the store. All of these duties center around leading a team to success on each shift, so we can continue to offer our Insomniacs Warm, Delicious cookies, and Deliver that Cookie Magic!

Responsibilities
Greet guests to make them feel welcome
Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
Quickly and accurately prepare food items
Running the shift, baking cookies and taking customer orders in store and for delivery.
Proficient in the following areas: Inventory, customer service, safety and sanitation
Requirements
Legally eligible to work in the US
Speaks English
Customer service
Point of sales systems
Clean appearance
Prior supervisory experience in the food service industry, a must
Can stand for several hours a day
Able to multi-task
Ability to lift 50 lbs
5 day work week including weekend nights, a must
