Gopuff is seeking a Shift Lead for our operations teams. Reporting to the Site Leader, this role is a core part of the facility leadership team with the responsibility to ensure order accuracy and fast, efficient delivery to our customers. You will manage the performance of the Pack and Receive team and the development of our driver-partners. The success of the team will rely on your ability to drive and motivate the team with a focus on perfecting the customer experience for each order. Customers turn to Gopuff to deliver their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. • Oversee execution of all facility operations and delivery processes for your shift, while ensuring that subsequent shifts are setup to succeed
• Assist in meeting performance objectives (Work v Forecast, Shift Fill, PB90, pack times, mispack rates, inventory accuracy)
• Improve driver performance (drive times, return times, orders per hour)
• Deliver customer happiness
• Escalate issues, managing exceptions and resolving issues
• Develop the Operations Associate and Driver Partner teams through standard processes and implementation of process change
• Leverage best practices within the site and from other sites to improve the customer experience
• Monitor Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviews
• Maintain overall site appearance in accordance with marketing and merchandising guidelines, while providing a great customer shopping experience through efficient and reliable retail operations management
• Handle, scan and move product in a safe and well-organized manner
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of internal Gopuff experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, logistics, military, restaurant or equivalent experience and 1+ years of experience in improving processes and efficiencies
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation (5pm - 12am) and visiting facility on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
