ServiceNow Architect/Developer Sr.

Our client is hiring a talented Sr. Developer for a redesign of the ServiceNow customer-facing portals. The candidate will also be working on simplification of business services and forms. This role includes converting some teams from CSM over to ITSM and consolidating two instances of ServiceNow into one enterprise platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• 
  Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub-systems.
• Makes recommendations and execution to development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
• Will lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
• May recommend modern technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.
• Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
• Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
• Assists in preparing project plans using project management tools.
• Reviews test results; documents test activities and records remedial actions.
• Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
• Develop dynamic Service Portal Solutions and end-user interfaces.
• Resolve mobile-based service portal performance bottleneck.
• Create, enhance and fix complex UI Page, custom and interactive widgets.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

“MUST HAVE” SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• 
  Customer-facing technical consulting experience with ServiceNow
• ServiceNow Service Portal, Javascript development, angularJS, bootstrap, jQuery,
• ServiceNow glide classes, script includes, Client Scripting, REST, Access Control List, Workflows, and business rules
• 3+ years' experience developing solutions with HTML,CSS,Angular JS, Javascript, Bootstrap

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• 
  Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and a minimum of five (5) to (7) years of relevant development or engineering experience or a combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in the following areas: project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, business acumen, application development, and change management.
• Intermediate level knowledge of the following:
• Project/team-specific development languages.
• Project/team-specific development skills.
• ServiceNow Portal Fundamental and ServiceNow Portal Advance certification is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6+ Years

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: ServiceNow Portal Fundamental and ServiceNow Portal Advance certification is a plus. ServiceNow Admin certification as well as ITIL Foundation
