Job Description

Mercedes-Benz of New Rochelle is in need of Service Advisors. If you are an experienced service advisor working in a fast-paced dealership and are looking for a to make your move to a luxury dealership, this may be your opportunity. Our store offers the latest in service drive technology. Meet and greet our customers with a smile in our enclosed, climate-controlled service drive. Communicate with our parts departments and technicians via instant message always leaving you at your desk to assist customers. Work alongside a team of long-term seasoned professionals. Communicate with our customers by phone, text or e-mail from one convenient platform. We are a high-volume fast-paced dealership, but still maintain very high customer satisfaction scores, and always deliver service with a smile. Are you up for a challenge? RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as liaison between techs and customers
  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time and preferred method – phone call, text or e-mail
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven and verifiable record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
  • Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is a must
  • High energy level, and warm friendly personality
  • Stay current with product and CSI training
  • A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • ADP, as well as some in-lane tablet experience a plus
