Food & Wine Server

Food & Wine Servers are the first introduction to the Siren Song brand for most guests. As a true brand ambassador, your skills and passion are critical to supporting the business mission.

Our menu at Siren Song varies seasonally. It’s designed to complement our wines while offering a variety of options for various day parts, appetites, and event scenarios. From food and wine pairings; to wood-fired pizza and salads; pastas, proteins, and pastries; to large-scale banquets and catering; to winemaker’s dinners we offer a creative place to work and grow. Our goal is to offer beautiful and delicious food that’s fresh, delicious, and features elements of our European style mixed with NW classics.

The Brass Tacks
  • Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly, kind, and polite manner.
  • Assist in the seating, comfort, and safety of our guests.
  • Engage guests with in-depth knowledge of our wines and fluently communicate about varietals, blends, vineyards, and our winemaking style.
  • Promote bottle and case sales to guests.
  • Promote wine club to guests.
  • Take wine and food orders, making suggestions and answering questions about menu.
  • Serve guests in the tasting rooms and patio areas.
  • Strictly adhere to all MAST rules and regulations.
  • Use POS system to accommodate all guest purchases and transactions.
  • Clean bar, tables, counters, stemware, etc. and maintain the highest level of hygiene and health standards.
  • Open and close the restaurant and tasting room following checklist procedures.
  • Assist with the re-stocking of wine, food, and supplies inventory.
  • Assist will food preparation. Assist with event set-up, support, and breakdown.
  • Assist with winery production activities (e.g. harvest/crush (vendage), bottling, packaging, labeling, cleaning, etc.)
The Nitty Gritty
  • A WSLCB Class 12 MAST permit is required.
  • A WA State Food Handler’s Permit is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Able to lift and transport up to 40 pounds during course of shift.
  • Ability to carry trays with wine stems and plates.
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have experience and passion in food service and/or hospitality.
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant preferred.
