Job Description

The SpectrumVoIP marketing team is seeking a talented SEO and Content Marketing Specialist to add to their dynamic and growing team. This job function will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to improve our company’s website and content’s search rankings for key terms from keyword research to copywriting and implementation of best-practices SEO tactics in CMS systems. This role will be able to blend strategic content creation and stellar communication abilities with technical SEO best practices. This will also include experience writing SEO-optimized content, such as long-form content creation, social media, organic copy, ad copy, blogs, articles, and general editing, etc. This position also requires a highly motivated, self-starting mindset and work ethic. Ideally, you are collaborative and able to adaptively implement your skills across variety stakeholders, industries, and verticals. You should be able to develop a solid on-page SEO strategy from scratch to implement while
being able to multi-task between various writing projects. The SEO and Content Marketing Specialist should have working knowledge and experience with Inbound Marketing concepts and be well rounded with all digital marketing channels and their interdependencies. The core responsibility will be to expand the digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads of SpectrumVoIP. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company.
  • Write SEO-optimized content such as blogs, articles, landing pages, product pages, and metadata
    such as title tags and meta descriptions.
  • Ensure content is on-brand and consistent in style, quality, tone of voice and is SEO and user
    experience optimized.
  • Refresh and repurpose content in new and unique ways to increase value for internal and external
    partner teams.
  • Write content for landing pages, lead-generating emails, digital ads, and other marketing content
    for both marketing team and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and external influencers and industry experts to produce
    relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience to create high-quality
    content around important relevant terms.
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough
    rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
  • Write, edit, and contribute to blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote your offering and
    to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Grow subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that is aligned with their
    needs and interests.
  • Execute and optimize all SEO digital content and assets.
  • Clean up citations and work to build new citations.
  • Follow content calendars centered around KPIs and based on important metrics.
  • Identify SEO audits to identify gaps in existing content and opportunities for new content,
    chances for on-page and off-page optimizations, and keyword phrase opportunities.
  • Identify and work with online directories to ensure accuracy and optimize.
  • Conduct competitor keyword and website audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates.
  • Proficiency in web analytics software (Google Analytics) and keyword tools (MOZ, SEM Rush).
  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as blog, SlideShare,
    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Utilize partner content to produce SpectrumVoIP assets.
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • A dual-minded approach: You are highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven,
    think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Yoast or common web platforms
    and marketing automation platforms.
  • Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite
  • Travel: Up to 10% post-COVID.
