SAIC has an immediate opening on a prime contract for an ambitious Senior Level Administrator, specializing in VMWare Administration, like you! Join a fast-paced and growing team of System Administrators in supporting a 24/7 high visibility Watch Center. VMWare Administrators can expect to design, test, upgrade, configure, and maintain the customer's private clouds compromised of Windows and Linux VMs. The candidate can expect to monitor and maintain multiple virtualized private clouds, including managing resources and CO-OP solutions. In addition to maintaining a private Customer Cloud, candidates should expect to gain experience in new administration Technologies; tackle individual and group projects; work closely with other IT professionals; and participate in a growing ever-changing mission. Qualifications

• 10+ Years of Overall Systems Administration experience, at least 5 years of which should involve VMWare Administration experience with the majority of following technologies:
  • vCenter
  • Site Recovery Manager
  • NSX
  • vRealize Operations
  • Virtualization hardware (Cluster a/o Blade Center) and storage
• Experience with the following aspects of Windows Domain Administration:
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • WSUS
• Experience in the following Linux Fields:
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Appliance Installation/Configuration
  • Software version Control (YUM & APT)
• Ability to rack/stack/install physical equipment (Lifting up to 70 lbs)
• Must currently hold a TS/SCI & Poly

Preferred Technical Qualifiations:

• Familiarity with the following:
  • Splunk
  • Windows Syslog
  • Scripting
  • STIGs
  • Security Complaince and Remediation

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong Communication & Technical troubleshooting Skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Willingness to work on a 24/7 on call pager rotation
• Willingness to participate in WMA or CONUS travel (<10%)
