Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Click's lead prescription program is entering into a multi-center, randomized, controlled, parallel-group, phase III FDA registration trial for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder in adults. Major pipeline expansion and progression is expected.

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior site reliability engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure. You will be building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that enables Click's digital therapeutics offerings. Your work will help people with unmet medical needs, including those who wish to quit smoking, those with major depression disorder, and those with schizophrenia—ultimately improving lives through engineering.

Key Challenges:

• Help us build a new infrastructure using state-of-the-art technologies while maintaining an existing infrastructure and implementing the migration.
• Employ elegant solutions to help ensure Click's cloud infrastructure and products meet compliance needs (e.g., GDPR and HIPPA) in different regions of the world.

Responsibilities:

• Improve our systems to achieve SLOs
• Design and implement the infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Python Trophshere library and AWS CDK in Typescript.
• Automate routine tasks via coding/scripting
• Make computing environment user friendly to software engineers (e.g., CI/CD, base docker image, developer environment)
• Make our infrastructure and applications scalable and reliable (e.g., logging, monitoring, performance tuning)
• Research on security and privacy requirements and provide solutions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of SRE or DevOps experience
• Python development experience
• Kubernetes operational experience
• Linux operational experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Terraform)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in strong typing languages (e.g., typescript, C++)
• Experience designing cloud security policies (e.g., AWS IAM)
• Understanding of privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HiTrust, HIPPA)
