Formal Job Description

Official Title (per client) - Senior Salesforce Administrator
The Sr. Salesforce Administrator / Developer will serve as the primary system administrator / developer for the Salesforce environment and is responsible for the overall configuration of Salesforce for 400+ team members globally. The Sr. Salesforce Administrator / Developer will execute on the day-to-day configuration, support maintenance and improvement of the CRM platform. He/she will work with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform. In addition, this role would also support quoting tools leveraged by Sales team members, including Oracle Quoting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all basic administrative functions including system maintenance, user access and provisioning, reports and dashboards, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, maintaining formula fields, bulk data migration, process builder and workflows, validation rules
• Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle (requirements gathering and review, technical design review, configuration, testing, and support) with a primary focus on application design and software development
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy enhancements to Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports, and dashboards
• Ensure the adherence to leading practices for configuration and custom development of Salesforce and implement best practices regarding system maintenance, testing, and data integrity
• Support software release management which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing
• Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system and identify cross-functional impacts regarding configuration, process, workflows, and reporting
• Research, install, and support 3rd party applications
• Support and test interfaces between Salesforce and Oracle EBS Quoting

Job Knowledge/Experience:

• 4+ years of overall experience configuring and managing Salesforce application
• Experience or knowledge in developing custom code for Salesforce application
• In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce including workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, custom objects / fields and have successfully expanded on those capabilities using custom code (Apex) and/or integration with external systems
• Implementation of CLM Docusign experience preferred but not required
• Experience building Lightning components
• Experience or knowledge in Apex, Visualforce
• Knowledgeable in SOQL, SQL and Oracle platforms
• Experience or knowledge in various Salesforce.com APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming API
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, creativity, and judgment in analyzing and implementing application solutions

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and 3+ years Information Technology experience

• Salesforce Administration certification required

• Salesforce Developer certification required
