We have an opportunity at our corporate office in Chicago for a Senior Recruiter on our Human Resources team. This position can be hybrid (working from both office and home), with a schedule to be determined by business needs.

As a Sr. Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, screening and recruiting candidates, both active and passive, for all levels through VP. The Lead Recruiter will work closely with Director, Talent Acquisition, Compensation Team, Hiring Managers, and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) to understand and accommodate the talent needs of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting Process for Active Role

  • Responsible for the full lifecycle recruiting on select roles; understand the successful candidate profile and determine recruiting strategy and timeline to deliver a strong candidate slate for each requisition
  • Source and screen active candidates from internal applicant tracking system and employee referrals, and active recruiting efforts including networking, cold calling, Boolean searches, social media, industry-specific websites, associations, blogs and communities of interest
  • Post open requisitions or manage posting efforts assigned to other HR staff
  • Ensure all recruiting and candidate knowledge is tracked, updated and maintained in database; provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities
  • Communicate effective Employee Value Propositions tailored for each role, candidate situation and interest level in the job
  • Manage multiple recruitment projects concurrently, prioritize and close searches against specified metrics
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to determine expectations and requirements for current openings and future needs while strategizing creative recruiting techniques; communicate with stakeholders throughout the process
  • Facilitate and deliver programs such as Interview Training and New Employee Orientation as needed; maintain program materials and update as needed to ensure up-to-date information is provided.
  • Manage relationships with engaged staffing agencies and ensure necessary contracts and SOWs are up to date for current searches.

Team Management and Project Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance where needed to other Talent Acquisition team members or for recruiting activities related to specific business units

Talent Pipeline

  • Create multi-pronged sourcing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool
  • Create and maintain proactive talent pipelines for future needs for select roles

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in, Business, Human Resources or related field preferred or commensurate experience required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting, and talent sourcing experience required
  • Recruitment experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Products industry preferred
  • Expert on creating effective, multi-pronged sourcing strategies to produce a qualified and diverse applicant pool
  • Ability to assess talent against technical skills, soft skills, and competencies outlined in job requirements
  • Sense of urgency to meet staffing goals and push open requisitions to a successful close; strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships to successfully drive results and meet targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to listen, advise, and influence others
