ES Transformation is looking for a strong Program Manager to join its team and partner with HR technology, employee services and other internal teams on the implementation of HR and technology transformation programs. The position will primarily work on Amazon’s People Engine program, representing ES and leading ES deliverables on the implementation of our new Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

This role is global in scope and will work with internal stakeholders in all regions on a daily basis. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who has extensive program and change management experience within a large global organisation.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of HCM or other global HR system implementations and will have the ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders. The role holder will have a proven track record of effective decision-making based on the analysis of data, suggesting solutions as required and escalating quickly when needed. They will raise the bar in the areas of customer obsession, ownership, bias for action and delivering results.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for program planning, delivery, risk management and status reporting.
  • Identifies and engages the necessary program resources to support each launch – this may include some or all of SMEs, business leaders, process design, testing, integrations and reporting resources.
  • Ensures organization impacts and process/service organization impacts are assessed and remediated.
  • Develops stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments and communication plans to ensure business readiness and adoption.
  • Gathers Lessons Learned after each launch, to ensure we keep raising the bar in our program delivery approach.
  • Experience leading programs within a complex global organization
  • Exposure to global HR technology / HCM project deployments (PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in business re-engineering / transformation using lean and six sigma methodologies
  • A formal qualification in project management and change management
  • Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action and result oriented
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on a number of projects/initiatives at the same time
  • Ability to communicate effectively, tailoring approach and messages effectively to the specific needs of the audience
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
