What You'll Do

We are the People Tech team, supporting the HR function and Epic employees with solutions that create amazing, fun experiences for the talented people who use our technology and make our games. We are looking for a clever and skilled HR Tools & Technology Senior Analyst. In the short term, your job will be to help us optimize our existing tool stack. Once optimized, you would be at the center of driving and assisting with various internal automation activities to improve operations for our People Team. We're looking for a skilled communicator, with a deep understanding of HR and TA processes and technology to help us to automate, scale and analyze the People Team at Epic.

In this role, you will
  • Augment our HR Technology Architecture with automated processes and third-party solutions.
  • Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey, and define as-is/to-be process for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the HR teams to support their solution roadmaps, working within agreed timeline and scope for projects.
  • Augment use of Workday through Extend, Prism, and other tools to improve usership and reporting capabilities.
  • Become a key member of the People Technology team, identifying issues and improvement opportunities before they become serious problems for the business. Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends.
  • Help to set up a program for new applications integration development in Workato.
  • Work with key People Team Partners in the Talent Management and L&D functions to ensure we continue to deliver scalable and impactful programs that are cohesive in the eyes of employees.
  • Help identify the need for, select, and operate technical systems and solutions that deliver an amazing employee experience, measuring success and making continuous improvements.
  • Travel to locations may be required as needed to support business needs.
What we're looking for
  • Have a minimum 5+ years of HR Services and Technology Program Management experience-implementing diverse HR applications and reporting/analytics tools.
  • Have 3+ years experience with Workday HCM configuration, integrations and reporting; and ready for the challenge of branching out to learn new systems and technologies to push the boundaries on HR process automation.
  • You have a passion for process improvement, a curiosity to learn, and creativity to craft programs that are authentic to Epic.
  • Have a keen ear for process pain points and creativity to propose modern, efficient, and scalable solutions. You are a patient listener and teacher; our team interacts with both functional and technical teams and an ability to translate, ask questions, and communicate solutions is key.
  • Have the proven ability to convey complex and technical business issues to diverse audiences, projecting a highly credible, polished image in presentations and communications.
  • Have experience assessing technologies (developing evaluation criteria, determining how well different alternatives meet those criteria, and documenting findings).
  • Someone who is passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, diligent, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do.
