Come join us and help shape the future! WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our Denver office. While this individual will be focused on the Salt Lake marketplace, they will be part of the Southwest Mountain District, which supports clients and communities throughout Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leads complex proposals with general guidance.
  • Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages.
  • Works with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit.
  • Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP.
  • Organizes and coaches technical staff in presentation phase.
  • Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.
  • May mentor and/or supervise proposal coordinators.
  • May lead client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client engagement team meetings
  • May coordinate division public relations (PR) activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR-related projects.

Minimum Qualifications: We are looking for an energetic, motivated candidate with strong people, communication and organization skills, who is able to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams with limited supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, technical writing or related field is required
  • 5 + years experience in marketing for A&E firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editorial and page design and layout skills
  • Possesses a strategic mindset
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams.
  • Liaison capabilities and knowledge of business development procedures is required.
  • Ability to work in collaborative (as well as virtual) team environments
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines, often on short notice
  • Ability to travel (as needed)
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in relevant field (business management, communications, marketing, technical writing, etc.)
