Who you are:

You are passionate about empowering employees through training strategy and operations. You enjoy developing and leading programs designed to engage, develop, and optimize performance. You have experience scaling training operations within a high-growth workforce, and you are comfortable developing new training programs and initiatives - including engaging with vendor partners. You have experience developing and managing online training platforms, as well as in-person training. You're a creative and strategic thinker, an effective communicator, a dynamic facilitator, an excellent project manager, have instructional design skills and feel comfortable engaging with employees at all levels within an organization

In this role, you will lead training strategy and operations across the Domain Expert organization, and sit within the Domain Expert Global Operations team. In your first 2-3 months of this role, you will learn in detail about the Domain Expert role, who monitor and analyze our data feeds and annotate, label and edit signals in real time. You will work with teams around the globe to understand training requirements/opportunities and collect data, and then use your in-depth knowledge of modern learning/development techniques and online training experience to structure and enhance all aspects of our training

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep and sophisticated understanding of the Domain Expert role
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of Dataminr's operations and associated training requirements
  • Build and maintain a scalable "online-first" training strategy, focused on providing world-class online training to Dataminr's various human-AI feedback loop operations
  • Lead the design and development of Domain Expert new hire training, regional training and several other new thematic training requirements
  • Regularly use data to assess the effectiveness of training, with a focus on results; leverage feedback, and continuously strive for improved training programs and processes
  • Provide training leadership, expertise and advice to senior leadership and cross-functional initiatives
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative reporting to senior leadership to support decision making
  • Support Domain Expert leadership development programs

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a top-tier management consultancy, high profile operations role, or equivalent experience in a technology company
  • Experience in designing, implementing and scaling training strategy, especially using online platforms and tools
  • Hands-on attitude, comfortable participating in the activities for which the training is aimed in order to truly understand the training experience
  • Understand what good training strategy and design looks like, with experience working alongside vendor partners to develop training tools
  • Comfortable working cross functionally, and able to lead and influence at multiple levels of the organization. Superior presentation skills
  • Ability to act swiftly under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and never remain stagnant in approach
  • Excellent communication skills, judgment and discretion
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
