Senior Manager - eCommerce / Omni-Channel / Enterprise Fulfillment

We are looking for a Sr. Digital Manager- Fulfillment to drive key eCommerce initiatives aimed at providing optimized customer order fulfillment across all channels, specifically for our Pickup Channel encompassing traditional Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Curbside Pickup and Returns. Manage, organize and coordinate across multiple (average 5-6) concurrent initiatives and help deliver on time and on budget. Based in our eCommerce Omni-Channel / Enterprise Fulfillment team, this role serves as a key leader within the eCommerce team and across the organization. This role will work with eCommerce leadership (vice presidents, directors), product, technology, merchandising, store operations, marketing, creative, and supply chain. You will be responsible for driving and growing the Pickup channel for JCP. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and influence JCP’s Pickup (Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Curbside Pickup and Returns) go forward strategy and lead the cross functional team to implement the initiatives to realize the strategy
  • Maintain the overall program schedule and milestone tracking tools to track progress, working with delivery leads and subject matter experts for each track
  • Coordinate across project activities, developing and controlling deadlines and activities
  • Support weekly/monthly reporting (accomplishments, in progress, risks, issues, metrics) and Monthly Steering Committee communication
  • Facilitate weekly / monthly manager / leadership meetings
  • Manage Program level Risk and Issue Management process.
  • Support project controls and communications
  • Implement new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Drive program and project management processes and metrics
  • Utilizing standard program management processes/tools, assess program status and provide recommendations and execute on course corrections as needed (don’t just measure, actively engage to fix the problem)
  • Serve as escalation point for business leads regarding all issues and risks impacting program and release delivery.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects and be highly detail oriented
  • Experience driving and implementing omni-channel or enterprise fulfillment roles initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of the leading solutions and providers of eCommerce technology a plus.
  • Previous experience managing programs in an eCommerce, fulfillment or retail environment would be of high-value but not required.
  • Experience related to supply chain logistics, transportation and/or order fulfillment is a plus.
  • Excellent ability to communicate (written and verbal) with multiple levels of leadership as well as cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Excel, Confluence, MS Project are beneficial
  • Creative problem solving, organization, attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability are crucial to the success of this role.
  • Ability to communicate complex problems clearly and concisely via PowerPoint

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, technology or related field
  • 5 – 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Certification in the field of Project Management and Agile methods is preferred
