Secure Sensor Solutions (S³) a product line within Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S), is looking for a S³ Sub-Product Line Finance Lead. The successful candidate will manage all financial activities within one of the S³ Sub-Product Lines, and will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic business area, drive successful Program execution, and develop and implement Front-End of the Business Strategies. The role is responsible for providing financial leadership and collaborating with the Sub-Product Line Director and leadership team to ensure sound business decisions in all program execution, new business and strategy, and to ensure top line growth and financial commitments are met. The Finance Leader has a team of 3 direct managers and 50 analysts and is a member of the Sub-Product Line Leadership Team. The Sub-Product Line has $500M in annual revenue and is a significant driver at the corporate level, which requires continuous communication with the S³ Leadership Team.

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Effectively manage Financials for a complex Sub-Product Line
  • Responsible for driving business financials while maintaining accountability across the program on both short and long-term initiatives including closely monitoring & measuring performance
  • Work very closely with the Sub-Product Line leadership team, and functions, providing the connectivity to the macro-level business goals while actively assessing risk and managing mitigation plans
  • Provide financial briefings and communications to customers, Sub-Product Line LT, program directors, and functional directors including BD, SCM, Ops, Engineering, as well as VP of S³ and Finance VP.
  • Provide analyses to build sound and executable program plans
  • Provide leadership to ensure strong business management function across program by focusing on increasing actionable information provided to the Program Directors, Sub-Product Line LT, and customers, promoting knowledge sharing, and improving processes with focus on automation & simplification
  • Manage business processes, including EAC, Earned Value, Baseline Change implementation, Financial Forecasting, AOP, 5 Year Plan
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating RI&S actions and providing accurate communication about the Sub-Product Line within Raytheon
  • Partner with leadership team to strategize for new business initiatives and associated business cases

Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 12 years of professional Finance or Accounting experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
  • Sound analytical, problem identification, and problem solving skills
  • Experience in applying Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Experience in development / strategic program new business capture.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Desired Skills:
  • Currently possesses a DOD Secret Clearance
  • Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Experience in DoD or Aerospace
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
