Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Epic Pass Guest Acquisition is a data-driven, guest-centric marketer with a passion for driving pass holder acquisition growth, driving awareness and converting new guests quickly, efficiently, and in a scalable capacity. This role will be specifically focused on determining strategies that drive transformative business results for the ‘Acquisition’ guest segment of Vail Resorts’ guests. This role requires strong analytical capabilities as well as the business acumen to translate quantitative and qualitative data into action. S/he will work with other members of the Lift Revenue Team to achieve KPIs to include new guest acquisition, while working cross-functionally to execute campaigns targeting new guests. This role will identify innovative ways to expand reach, drive awareness, and drive advance commitment through ROI-focused programs leveraging well-developed relationships with core channel partners, strategic alliance partners, and external data partners. The Senior Manager, Epic Pass Guest Acquisition role is intended for individuals with a high sense of ownership, demonstrated background in driving results through data-driven strategies, and excitement in solving the most critical business problems.

Job Responsibilities

Business Ownership:

  • Ownership over strategies to drive acquisition through clearly defined business objectives and KPIs
  • Demonstrated background in bringing the external world in: Leverage best practices, new ideas, and what works/doesn't work from leaders in and out of the industry
  • Leverage data to draw clear narratives on performance and compellingly communicate business performance based on complex data sets
  • Influence cross-channel partners to optimize and evolve lifecycle marketing strategies using all channels to increase acquisition of new guests and drive conversion into our Pass products

Marketing Strategy:

  • Proven ability and experience in defining strategies and tactics to drive guest acquisition
  • In partnership with cross-channel teams, drive acquisition strategies and execution through multi-touch and multi-dimensional marketing programs with a guest-centered approach
  • Identify and communicate key opportunities in the guest journey and test ways to grow market share and expand pass holder penetration, culminating in new growth
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans with cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and communicating opportunities in the guest journey to focus test and learn plans to incentivize behavior and bring new guests into the portfolio

Leadership:

  • High-Potential Leader with high learning agility, emotional intelligence, and ambition, with the ability to identify and develop talent
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others and cross-functional partners in the execution of key performance initiatives


Job Requirements

Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience including proven ability to successfully lead and oversee critical projects and multi-faceted efforts
  • Experience with analyzing information and data to make decisions
  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation who does not need daily direction to drive results
  • Experience supporting and working with C-level executives in a business environment
  • Proven track record for problem solving, showcasing success using different skill sets
  • Experience in framing storylines and building compelling presentations to clearly communicate business results and convey Pass strategies

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Degree in business or related field preferred; MBA or other advanced business learning or coursework preferred


The budgeted range starts at $90,000 - $125,450 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
