Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Owns and manages a research IT portfolio (including regulatory management, financial management, and/or study management products and capabilities)
  • Analyzes operational requirements and system capabilities to propose effective IT solutions
  • Provides Subject Matter Expert experience to research IT products
  • Responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and per approved plans
  • Owns applications; including designing, building, testing/test scripts, training, utilization metrics and change control processes
  • Optimizes, maintains, and supports applications as required; including on-call and technical escalation support
  • Develops IT product Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Complies with and advocates for AdventHealth Informatics Security policies and procedures
  • Owns complex problem analysis, issue resolution, and application enhancement/optimization of use
  • Shares and employs best practices throughout the organization
  • Owns Key Performance Indicators for vendors, resources, and time to understand the cost-model per IT product and track improvements over time
  • Creates and provides data to baseline and improve solution-utilization
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirement
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent experience in healthcare or healthcare IT
  • Minimum three years of IT experience in a large, complex, and integrated healthcare or payer setting
  • Experience implementing and managing large scale information systems
  • Experience working effectively in a highly-matrixed organization
  • Experience working with vendors

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA), or other advanced credentials highly preferred
  • Programming and data processing problem analysis experience with an emphasis in healthcare or business applications

Licensure, Certification or Registration Preferred:

  • Clinical Licensure
  • Clinical Research Professional or Clinical Research Coordinator national certification (SoCRA or ACRP)

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of research regulatory management systems or
  • Knowledge of research financial management systems or
  • Knowledge of research study management systems
  • Knowledge of clinical trial management tools and research registries
  • Subject Matter Expert level understanding of research IT solutions
  • Knowledge of research regulatory bodies and requirements

Job Summary:

The IT-Research Sr. Analyst is responsible for implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a portfolio of research related IT products and capabilities across AdventHealth. This portfolio includes regulatory management, financial management, and/or study management IT-products and capabilities. This position supports AdventHealth research programs across the company. This position leads the design, build, and configuration of research information systems as well as project delivery, portfolio management, and performance analytics. Under the supervision of an IT-Manager, this position acts as a subject matter expert of research IT products and proposed IT design across AdventHealth’s highly-matrixed, integrated delivery network.

The IT-Research Sr. Analyst manages relationships with AdventHealth research operations leaders and key stakeholders (independent/employed physicians, employees, vendors) to facilitate the delivery of IT products and services. As part of service organization, the IT-Research Sr. Analyst actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
