Appsky is a human-centered creative agency that specializes in design, software, & consulting. We are an in-house team based in Omaha, NE that focused on building custom solutions for hybrid mobile apps and progressive web apps (PWAs), WordPress websites and e-commerce, and UI-UX design and branding.

Job Description

Appsky is looking for a Solutions Architect with at least three to five years of experience in both web and mobile development with Angular 2+. If you like working with new technologies, solving problems, and working in a creative environment, come join our team and help us build amazing things!

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers on multiple projects
• Work with business stakeholders or other team members to work through requirements and identify a solution
• Successfully work in an Agile environment and ability to pivot focus when priorities are changed
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Design scalable and secure features
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices for development and design
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Angular 2+
• Previous team management experience
• Proven work experience as an Angular web app developer
• Proven work experience in software development
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other front-end frameworks
• Experience developing highly interactive applications
• Experience with RESTful JSON APIs
• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Linux based backends
• A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related field, or comparable experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
