We are actively searching for two Senior Clinical Reimbursement Specialists to join our MDS leadership team!

One position will cover the TN region and the other will cover Mid-West Atlantic region as a lead and our Ohio homes.

As the Clinical Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with systems development and implementation of programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QM’s), Medicaid Casemix and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for all SHC Stakeholders.

Requirements for Consideration include:
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state employed.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a MDS Coordinator in the long-term care setting with Regional/multi-site MDS experience strongly preferred
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
  • Routine travel to multiple sites, including occasional overnight stays.
