The Senior Business Systems Analyst – Anaplan, will be responsible for the support, maintenance & improvements of the Anaplan application for Worldwide Finance. Additionally, the successful candidate will also work with the end-users and their management to determine and enhance business processes and workflow. This is a role for a strategic advisor to our internal clients, so this role will require a high level of expertise in Finance Business processes and systems, as well as superior communication, prioritization and influencing skills.

  • Partner with Finance in identifying gaps, develop/create business requirements, and document the user stories and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Configure, maintain and update Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and other model settings to support new business objectives and initiatives.
  • Develop technical solutions to business problems; validate and communicate technical solutions to internal and external team members, test solutions and ensure it meets specifications.
  • Work with the vendors on design, build, test & deployment of Anaplan enhancements, bug fixes & project deliveries.
  • Develop proof of concept (POC) models as needed.
  • Define and administer user roles and permissions in Anaplan.
  • Provide ongoing production support to the business community regarding application functionality and data integrity.
  • Monitor data flows to and from Anaplan platform to ensure all data integrity/accuracy.
  • Document Standard Operating procedures as part of the regular support & maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other multi-functional IT teams to define and implement effective and efficient solutions to business challenges and opportunities.
  • Communicate and document the critical process &/or system functionality changes to the business users.
  • Test Solutions to ensure they meet the business requirements/specifications.
  • Run/facilitate the UAT sessions with business users.
  • Manage requirement backlogs (& priorities) and long term commitments to deliver a cohesive FP&A Anaplan planning platform over its entire life cycle.

Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!

  • 8+ of years of experience with finance modeling tools.
  • 2+ years of experience with Anaplan.
  • Experience in Finance Planning & Operations domain areas.
  • Data Analysis, Project Management, Communicating and Influencing Collaboration.
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely and ensure others are informed.
  • Ability to prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly-matrixed organization requiring superior skills in critical thinking, influencing, and managing multiple priorities

Preferred knowledge and experience: These are a huge plus.

  • Experience with ERP (SAP S/4 or Netsuite) integrations
  • Experience with Workday (HR) integrations
  • Experience with Jobvite Integrations

Education: Got it!

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent years of industry experience.
