Job Description

The RTX Cyber Intelligence and Assessments Group is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team as a Senior Analyst – Collection Management Coordinator. The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, planning, coordinating, and executing intelligence collection, analysis, and report dissemination in order to provide operationally actionable intelligence in support of RTX cyber defenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Collection Coordinator, edit and disseminate timely threat reporting across the enterprise.
  • Support a technically proficient workforce, develop training plans, and uplift the reporting capability for CTI analysts.
  • Manage the Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) process. Work with Business Units to develop focused PIRs. Work with CTI team to address priorities and collection gaps.
  • Facilitate the production of CTI Cyber Metrics. Work closely with Intelligence and Assessments Group teams including Hunt, Vulnerability Management, Vulnerability assessment and the Security Operations Center (SOC) to define, collect, track, and report metrics.
  • Work closely with RTX stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships between Threat Intelligence and its various customers across the enterprise.
  • Develop and implement an intelligence report feedback process to measure reporting impact and alignment.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • The preferred candidate will have Cyber Threat Intelligence collections and reporting experience. Specifically, experience working with customers and ensuring intelligence reports are timely, relevant, and impactful.

The candidate should:

  • Be adept with the Central Intelligence Agency Style Manual and Writers Guide for Intelligence Publications
  • Be familiar with cyber metrics collection, tracking, and reporting.
  • Have familiarization with threat intelligence tooling.
  • Have an ability to manage indicators of compromise and enrich them through premium and open sourced tooling.
  • Must have an incredible understanding of TCP/IP, network infrastructures, and security products and tools.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.
  • The preferred candidate should have an understanding of the threats that target defense industrial firms and experience operationalizing the Cyber Kill Chain, Mitre ATT&CK, and Diamond Model.
  • Should have strong communication skills and be able to prepare and present papers, briefings, and other materials to RTX senior cyber leadership across the enterprise.
  • Should have a demonstrated ability to form coalitions amongst disparate groups, be able to produce thorough and precise documentation, and have sound decision making skills.
  • Certifications desired but not required: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, CCNA or greater, SANS certifications.
  • Current US Security Clearance (SECRET or greater) or ability to obtain one preferred.
  • Scripting skills desired but not required.

Education:

  • 10 Years Experience with BS or BA Degree in a technical program

Or Advanced Degree with 7 years experience

This position will be in the Washington, DC area. Remote work opportunities are possible.
