Job Description

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist the VP for Enrollment/Marketing and the Director of Admissions. Additionally, the Senior Admissions Counselor/Enrollment Coordinator will be required to respond to prospective students by providing professional assistance via phone, mail, e-mail, text and social media.

To be successful in the Office of Enrollment, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The Senior Admissions Counselor/Enrollment Coordinator must be comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, the candidate should have a genuine desire and passion to meet the needs of our prospective students.

Responsibilities:

Ensure an excellent admissions experience for all prospective students; organize and conduct prospective student interviews; create and maintain prospective student files; participate in on-campus recruitment events; coordinate on-campus or virtual student visits; provide prospective students with accurate information about PSR programs and resources; provide a prompt response to inquiries and applicants; accurately manage the prospective student and applicant database; coordinate communication flow (from inquiry to matriculant); assist in developing and editing prospective student and financial aid communications; update and purge prospective student and financial aid files; coordinate scheduling for the Enrollment and Media Department. Process purchases and expense reports. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree is required. Seminary education or experience desired.

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to perform and track several tasks at once and complete in a timely manner.

· Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.

· Ability to handle confidential material accurately and with sensitivity.

· Ability to meet designated deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to relate cooperatively and effectively with a diverse population of staff, faculty, students, trustees, vendors, and visitors.

· Strong reading and writing skills.

· Strong computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word. Mailchimp experience is helpful.

· Ability to manage and understand a complex database system. Previous CRM or LMS experience is highly preferred.
